Additional reports that Schaefer has been arrested at the Munich District Court while attending the trial of Mrs. Sylvia Stolz, herself accused of Holocaust Denial. Schaefer was apparently handcuffed in the hallway after she stepped out of the courtroom.

A post on a German Blog is claiming that Canadian Holocaust Denier Monika Schaefer has been arrested in Germany. Schaefer, a former music teacher and Green Party candidate faced widespread condemnation from both the public and the Green Party itself, and had a hate speech complaint filed against her in 2016 following the publication of a YouTube video entitled “Sorry Mom, I was wrong about the Holocaust.” In it she described the Holocaust as “the six-million lie,” and stating that “these things did not happen.”

The blog alleges that she was arrested while attending the trial of Sylvia Stolz, a former lawyer and convicted Holocaust denier. Holocaust Denial is a criminal offence in Germany.

Updates to follow as they become available.
